During the dry season (June-October), the park hosts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Tanzania as animals congregate around the Tarangire River. The park covers 2,850 square kilometers and is characterized by diverse habitats including grasslands, baobab woodlands, and seasonal swamps.
